Thanks for letting us share the recipe with you.
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 pound hot Italian sausage
12 cherry peppers (chopped and seeded)
2 jalapeños (or any pepper you like, chopped and seeded)
1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 6oz can tomato paste
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
2 cups water (can adjust to taste)
1 T chili powder
1 t onion powder
1 T cumin
1 t coriander
1 t red pepper/cayenne
1 t salt (OPTIONAL)
1 garlic clove (crushed)
1 16 oz can pinto beans (OPTIONAL)
Cook the meats in a dutch oven until browned, drain fat.
Mix in cherry peppers and jalapeños and cook another 3-5 minutes over medium to medium high heat.
Stir in everything else and heat to boiling. If you like beans, you can add them now. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Ladle and serve with optional garnishes, all of them if you like: cheese, chopped cilantro, diced red onion, sour cream, fritos, tortilla chips, crackers. Don't have the nutrient information, it's chili, who cares.
Like it HOTTER!? Substitue the jalepenos with habeneros, ghost peppers or whatever you can tolerate—just don't burn down the house.
